Throughout our 8-year history, every part of the Spark Digital business has evolved. From a handful of engineers in 2012 to a full-service organization of nearly 300 consultants, designers, developers, QAs, and DevOps engineers we’ve grown our business by hiring experienced professionals and empowering them to enact change within the context of our unique company culture.
Today, our Delivery organization is making a big step forward. We are pleased to announce that Ed Cho, an industry veteran, will now lead all delivery operations for Spark Digital. At the same time, we have created two career tracks for our project leadership team. The first, and most client-facing, is the Project Manager/Scrum Master role, which is focused on owning project success. The second is the Account Manager which is focused on team fit, performance, and career development.
“We believe that promoting Ed Cho to Principal & Head of Delivery will get us closer to achieving our twin goals of being the most trusted partner to our clients and being the best employer we can be,” said Co-Founder & Managing Partner, Chris Cali. “With the formation of two-distinct career paths for the leadership team under Ed, we are better positioned to provide the best possible client experience and take the best possible care of our team members.”
Ed is deeply experienced in Spark Digital’s core industries and in project delivery. He has led large-scale Digital Transformation and Supply Chain initiatives in his previous positions at Accenture and MarkMonitor, servicing clients including Warner Bros., eBay, Microsoft and others.
“This is a great opportunity for me to do what I love,” said Ed Cho. “Evolving our delivery organization, improving our client service, and helping every single team member make the most of their careers. I’m so excited to take on this new role and continue to be a part of the family bringing Spark Digital closer and closer to our goals.”
The reorganization of the Delivery team has also precipitated the promotion of two of our most experienced delivery professionals, Danilla Cordero and Leandro Mastakas. Dani will now lead the Project Management team and Leandro will lead the Account Management team. Kudos to all.
